There are no clear guidelines on how patients with signs and symptoms of ischemia but not obstructive CAD should be treated. Together, UF Health and Cedars-Sinai researchers aim to determine whether intensive medical treatment will reduce adverse CV outcomes in these patients.

Dr. Wei’s research interests include heart disease in women, cardiovascular disease prevention, and coronary vascular dysfunction. Her research includes the evaluation of coronary, carotid, and peripheral atherosclerosis using magnetic resonance imaging.
